Does FreshSeal vacuum-seal food?

No. FreshSeal uses heat to reseal the opening of compatible bags. It does not remove air from the packaging and should not be presented as a vacuum sealer.

What kinds of bags can it seal?

FreshSeal is designed for most compatible heat-sealable plastic and foil-lined food packages. It will not properly seal plain paper, fabric or materials that are not designed to melt and reconnect under heat.

How do the six heat levels work?

P1 uses the lowest sealing setting, while P6 uses the highest. Start with a lower level and increase it gradually depending on the thickness of the packaging.

Does it need to preheat?

Follow the instructions supplied with the final product model. The required preparation time may depend on the selected mode and packaging material.

Can I store it on my refrigerator?

FreshSeal has a magnetic storage base designed for suitable flat metal refrigerator surfaces. Magnetic strength may vary depending on the refrigerator material and finish.
